Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films that are mostly of the horror or martial arts types. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films that have a twisted fascination. She began reviewing movies at the end of 2009 when she became popular in their forum. (Under her former handle Obscurus Lupa) Then she was asked to be a part of the Channel Awesome team. The site remained active until early 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts. One focused on the Charmed series and the second one co-hosted with Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to write reviews of films and gained popularity in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the family of network movie critics. She's been featured in numerous Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a member of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
