Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Along with BJJ, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd later went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents had been defeated in the first minute. Aspen went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen an unanimity loss and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in the year 2015, when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta fought Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011, and was victorious by one-round TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized the skills she had learned in wrestling to take on McGill. Aspen ended her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, but Aspen won and beat Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her final promotion bout. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd was able to defeat Evinger within the first few seconds and was awarded a prize for her performance on the night. Invicta FC's Sijara Ebanks was her opponent for the rematch that took place at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in some great exchanges among the pair of fighters got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her winning streak. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
